They've lived long enough to know better. They've also lived long enough not to care.
Meet Hank (Henry T. Della), an 85-year-old retiree who's had just about enough of the modern world. When a scheme to supplement his income by selling prescription medication to local drug dealers goes disastrously wrong, Hank enlists the help of his old friends Jack (Jack Lewkowitz) and Ed (Ed Kayser) to retrieve his merchandise and teach a few young punks a lesson in respect.
What follows is a violent confrontation between three aging veterans and a gang of criminals who have seriously underestimated their elders.
Written by Hank Della and directed by Daryl Della, Oldtimers combines hardboiled crime, western-inspired action, and dark comedy, featuring an original score by Arbel Bedak and Ray Revello as the ruthless thug leader Julio. Also starring Donald Flores and Emmanuel Diego.
Praised by Ain't It Cool News as “a damn fun little film” and by Film School Rejects for its strong screenplay, Oldtimers returns in a special 10th Anniversary Blu-ray Edition, featuring a newly upscaled 4K remaster, expanded widescreen framing, and an exclusive 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound mix.
This anniversary release also includes a 20-minute making-of documentary, cast commentary, sixteen minutes of outtakes, archival production footage, and two additional Dollars & Donuts short films.
