The hunt for The Golden Hoot continues as San Francisco private detective Frank Barnett and his beleaguered accountant Harvey Weebs pursue a stolen artifact whose hypnotic powers threaten far more than either man bargained for.
A breakneck motorcycle chase, a dangerous confrontation with professional assassin Jack Knife, and a deadly encounter in a decaying theater bring Frank face-to-face with the sinister Von Beck. But as the villain's ambitions become clear, Harvey falls under the influence of the Golden Hoot, placing Frank's closest associate at the center of a scheme for world domination.
Originally serialized in Dollars & Donuts Showcase, this standalone edition presents the second chapter of Frank Barnett's first comic-book adventure.
